The ROK speech made me well up. I'm a cry baby in general - get set off by a sad movie , but that was hard to see. He's always been quite dignified and hard on himself and I think this year would have been a real slap in the face for him. Dutifully he's responded with nothing but kindness and courtesy and I hope that his coaching career, wherever it may be, is incredibly successful.

Oh and good on the Swans staff, for getting that Plugger/Buddy vid up quick smart. That's a moment in history really. Even Buddy seemed star-struck (as he should). Plugger's just quality - my heart clenched every time he referred to the club as 'we'.

Rhyce Shaw saying 'thank god' that he didn't play 100 for his 'old club'.

If my count is right (just at the end of the H&A) I think Parker is going to just hold on from Kennedy. Buddy should score enough in the finals to sneak into 3rd, and I think Jack is probably going to finish 4th.

Rampe has been polling pretty well and consistently throughout the season.

That was the cathartic couple of hours I needed....My malaise has lifted.

Just like all the players who went on stage tonight said.... I can't wait for our shot at redemption.,

Fantastic to see Plugger again in the Swans fold. I sensed it gave the club a real lift.

Congrats Swans on a much needed uplifting night.....Bring on 2015.

My sentiments too. I now feel ready to start rewatching the games I have saved on IQ, something I wasn't sure when I'd be ready to do, after last weekend. For all the bitter disappointment at Saturday's performance, the team did serve up some pretty decent football at times. And with a one-man highlight reel hitched to the club for nearly the next decade, I am already starting to look forward to season 2015.

Whoever invited Plugger is a genius.

I'm just glad that he didn't say that 1996 was his one chance for a Swans Premiership and it never came again.

                            Well said.

And Goodsey has agreed to one more year! Sydney Swans great Adam Goodes says he will play on in 2015 as Luke Parker claims Skilton Medal
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Amazing season from Luke. Who is our youngest ever B&F winner? He would have to be close (at least just counting time in Sydney).
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Youngest since Micky O in 1998. I think O'Loughlin was around 4 months younger. Both were in their 4th years.
