The year in the NEAFL seems to have really benefited Ryan's post playing career. He's joined Adelaide as a development coach. Congrats.

That's really great news. Delighted for ROK - even if it is the bloody Crows! Won't be long until Pebbles will be able to give an informed opinion of the merit of COLA for Sydney. He will be able to buy a very nice house in a very nice suburb for much less than in Sydney (even allowing for rapid housing price inflation in recent years in Adelaide).Comment

On the night he was overcome with the fact that although he was being cheered by the mob, he was now finally and irrevocably no longer on the Swans list (and it hurt) that he had fought so hard for, and that his career as an AFL player had come to the inevitable conclusion. For Peb, it was harder than it has been for others.
