    Carlton v Richmond

    Saturday April 4th, 2015
    Melbourne v Gold Coast

    Brisbane Lions v Collingwood
    Western Bulldogs v West Coast

    Sunday April 5th, 2015

    Fremantle v Port Adelaide

    Monday April 6th, 2015

Strange that we're not playing GWS in round 1...any idea whether it's ANZ, SCG or TBA?

The article on the AFL website says it's at the SCG. First bounce 4:40pm.

The AFL is starting its drip feed of draw information again and the footy media is obediently whipping up a frenzy. According to them, the Lions/Pies game is a "blockbuster" because Beams has defected to the Lions. Sigh.

So pleased we play a team other than GWS in round 1.

                Ah. That explains a lot.
I saw a reference to a tweet on FB, and then when I went to look there was no reference to ANZ Stadium.

Really hope it's at SCG. I think bombers at the SCG is a great start. Much better than GWS. However if bomber players get suspended for doping the conspiracy theorists will be out in force saying the AFL purposefully arranged the game to hand the swans a win.

According to the telegraph we will play the Giants at the SCG in round 3.

This was changed after I checked when I posted, but then what do you expect from an organisation that makes rules up as they go.

Probably end playing Fremantle in Port Moresby

Most concering part of that article is the suggestion that the NRL will play Canterbury vs Souths at ANZ on Friday Night, meaning a turn around of less than 24 hours before the Bombers match

Suspended bombers means we should be on top after round 1.

But we said that this year!

                              AFL plans a fan-friendly 2015 fixture

Some good news in relation to the draw - Saturday night starts coming a bit forward to 7.20 instead of 7.40/7.50. Its only 20 or 30 minutes, but I'm certainly happy to see the change made.
