    Demons to target Zac Jones

Article on NEWS.COM.AU says the Demons to target Jac Jones next year (his brother Nathan has signed a long term contract).
Hope we tie him up before then as he seems a very good pickup.

Roos again targeting the Swans (as will other teams).

And if the trade ban is not lifted he can walk and we wont get a trade

Bloody Roos again. He seems to be targeting us more than anyone.
LOL at their comments; http://demonland.com/forums/index.php?/topic/37768-zak-jones/. Maybe if they got their selection and development right they might get somewhere.

Quick! It's the offseason and there aren't any footy games on!! Let's concoct some stories about players who have brothers who play for other teams who we can make up stories about potential trades!!!

they will probably be going for Dane Rampe with equal venom

Dane is exactly the type of player that would help the Demons backline

Very weird reading that forum thread, everyone seemed kind of sane, good humoured and realistic. They can probably distinguish between rapt, wrapped and rapped. They obviously haven't got the hang of the internets yet.

Is there a possibility that this story originated from the Jones camp?

The Swans selectors will be mindful that they don't want another Tim Membrey situation at the end of 2015.

This story could help promote Zak Jones and help him secure more senior games in 2015.

Not surprising. The only way to have survived the last decade as a Demons supported is to be sane, good humoured and realistic.

The article has no byline. That means no particular person taking responsibility for it. so Nathan might have said it would be nice to play footy with his brother. I heard him say it on TV. but that doesn't mean Demons are going to rush out and try to get him. They might but well... I think Zac has his head well and truly in the right place. He wants to play in premiership teams, not bottom or struggling sides. Melbourne will struggle for quite a considerable time yet and there is no guarantee they will ever make a final let alone a GF. Whereas Swans are a good chance of both.

For the Demons there's a very long tunnel and not much light. Brother Nathan has spend a lot of time in the dark and must be used to it. Perhaps he's even afraid of the light.

The god like aura of Paul Roos is fading fast......pity. He's only doing his job for his new employer, granted, but he is @@@@ting in his bed in regard to his status at the Swans. He is officially an enemy of the Swans.....it's a bit sad.

How come so many Swans fans carry on about Roos and how he's now the enemy, yet when Hawthorn fans boo Buddy, its wrong? Its football, players and coaches come and go and just because they're no longer part of the Swans family we should never forget what they did for us when they were.

Hear, hear. And I hope Roos works miracles with the Dees. They're overdue.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
