    Positive for AJ

We as fans need to stay positive for AJ and encourage him as much as we can. This set back should be treated as just that, a set back not a conclusion. There has been talk from Swans fans already that maybe he should just retire. He doesn't need to hear that negativity and we as fans have a responsibility to the bloke who was so important in the 2012 finals series to be positive along with him. No negativity folks lets be up and talk about the day he has his after injury debut. Lets talk about the good times ahead and getting him as much help as possible in the way of positive reinforcement.

The mind is a wonderful part of the brain. Psychologists now believe the mind can overcome many of the obstacles the body puts in it's way. The mind is as much involved in the healing process as the body. If the mind says 'I can't/it won't' then the likelihood is it won't and you won't. If the mind says 'I can/It will' then the most likely scenario is success. even better is to reinforce these positive acclamations with I am/it is. We can use the positive reinforcement of 'you ARE on the mend', 'You WILL be ok', 'Look forward to seeing you kick the @@@@ out of the Hawks in 2016 mate'. We need to send as many messages of positive reinforcement as possible to keep the bloke going.

So lets mobilise and get started. Send to his Twitter, FB, every Social Networking site and even snail mail to the club addressed to him.

AJ's only 22 - he's got plenty of time to get himself right and still have a bright future in AFL.
