What, you want people to just post a bunch of Sammy's highlights?

I issue the challenge to RWO Sam Reid fans to post enough footage of good Sam Reid plays to quell JPK12's criticism of Sammy (though I doubt that even a month straight of Sam Reid highlights would get the JPK12 monkey off Sam's back!

I think you will find more footage of him tripping over his own feet and injuring himself than career highlights.

Seriously the guy could be anything with that body and smarts but its just not happening.

if anyone watched Jarryd Jughead one of the best in the business play for the Hawks last wknd against North you would have seen him drop two absolute sitters !

Reid has his place in the 22

Sam Reid is a wonderful defensive forward. He nailed 6 tackles against Port at the SCG last year. He and Buddy are the best defensive key forwards in the game. If Goodes, Buddy and Reid can prevent the ball being switched in the Swans attacking h half then the opposition will have to go down the line and contest against our brutal inside midfielders.

I would love to see a confident and fit Reid be deployed to tag Nat Fyfe. That contest would bring back the magic of those Goodes v Judd contests of 2006. Two athletic big men running each other up and down the field.

I guess a new McVeigh has been discovered.
I hope so, he turned out ok after barrages of RWO critics...

The same argument was had with McVeigh for many years.

Would anyone want to drop McVeigh now???

You need to let this fantasy go...it will never ever happen. Fyfe destroys some of the best midfielders in the game and as much as I love Sammy he would get his pants pulled down and rings ran around him.

Fyfe destroys smaller midfielders in the air. He did it to Parker in the Qualifying final even the though Parker played very well and is the Swans best over head mark. Reid could run with him in open field and take away that marking weapon that Fyfe has.

Another one I would like to see is Rohan taking Dangerfield. Rohan would need to get his endurance and confidence up for that to occur. I dream of the day that Rohan chases down Dangerfield on the Adelaide oval wing and unleashes a brutal tackle.

Goodes v Judd was a shock, but it was amazing to see the two finest players in the AFL at that point go head to head. It almost won the Swans back to back flags.

Goodes played off Judd head to head because Judd'd accountability was questionable...he didn't play a defensive role (which I'm assuming Reid would on Fyfe?)

Reid couldn't take away Fyfe's marking ability because he would never be within 20 metres of him

You have some weird fetishes Matt80 - these included. Fyfe would absolutely destroy Reid in one on one.

As for Rohan and Dangerfield - that has been discussed ad nauseum as well, and I think the previous conclusion of many would be that Dangerfield would be likely to rip him a new one.
