& the premier of SA asked me to thank you for your financial boost of the SA economy after your spree on the weekend ... Adele says you're a spending inspiration!
Hope to make it over to you later in the season

TV showed me holding up the banner!!! Julie took a photo from the TV (apologies for the quality).
    Cool as!!!
Koshie's a bit pissed off at me because I made so much noise during the game. He could hear me over the silence of his members, and he didn't like it much.
I got a text message from the premier this morning begging me and my wallet to come back.

I know. They said that he pushed Kurt and it was below the required force for Heeney !!!! You don't need much force to blind someone with a finger in the eye !!

I haven't watched the replay yet, but I'm pretty sure that the only noise "at the loudest stadium in Australia" came from the swans cheer squad.
I lost my voice and I think it's in row 5 somewhere.

The port supporters were nowhere near as feral as what I had been warned.
Unfortunately, security at the ground told the GA people to leave the first three rows free for the cheer squad, when in fact, the first five rows should have been kept free.
Two rows of people had to find new seats... one wouldn't budge. (said tosser from goswannies post above).
The people around us generally were pretty decent, although like a huge pack of scardy cats, we waited until the ground had cleared before we left... just in case.

Great seeing you and yours goswannies.
                  I had an awesome weekend.
I went last year when we touched up the Crows and it was very similar. Their fans got off them very quickly and we were much louder than them despite our small numbers. There is nothing better in footy as a fan, other than a Flag, than going to an interstate game and winning I reckon! Our night out in Adelaide after was very very enjoyable!

I think we'll have to accept that the MRP will be "correcting" perceived inconsistencies from last year and before this time around. Hopefully it'll work in our favour at some stage, although our discipline is generally pretty good. Look at the way Buddy has clearly been taught to bump legally as an example of the way we get ahead of these matters rather than tolerating a Ballantyne or a Steve Johnson.

I went for that game as well - even had a decent few $$$ on us to win 39+ plus so my arvo got better and better as we flogged the crows. Paid for a very enjoyable evening out that night in Radelaide. Was disappointed couldn't do the Port trip this year, but definitely have a return to Adelaide on the list for next year (and the Adelaide Oval is sensational to watch footy at).

I don't think the people who want to get Towers out are seeing the bigger picture that Horse and co are trying to produce. towers is being groomed as our Luke Bruest, a specialist HF who can go into the mids if need be. He won't be dropped especially after that performance. Goodsie might just go out but others are calling for Rohan to be dropped. No way, his switching with Heeney & Macca from HB to HF was pivotal in confusing the Port players and coaching staff. His second, third and fourth efforts were great, same with Isaac. He might be 18 but he is built like a Greek God, strong, full of endurance and skilled. for the kid it is all about team and if he starts to flag he will be the first one to put his hand up. Speaking about team, this is what Aussie Rules is all about, it is not about stars and big names, it is about everyone doing their role. I have seen teams with big stars who never won a premiership. Take the Sydney teams under Hafey, lots of stars, no premierships to go with them. We have stars but they play the team game. you take Buddy & Tip, they always play the team game and do the hard things, chase, tackle, give off to teammates in a better possie. forget that Adam has been a great champion, it is now that counts not then. what's past is past and this is the 2015 season and sometimes you have to take one for the team. If that means Adam getting the tap on the shoulder then so be it.
I certainly wasn't advocating dropping him wolftone - just saying it would probably be between Goodes and Towers if they decide to bring McGlynn in.

I thought Towers did well - although he is still a bit soft around the contest. But he is growing into the role and improving with every game.

Trengove pushed Tippett in the shoulder and his hand slipped and a finger have Heeney a little poke in the eye. Opposite angle showed it quite clearly. perfect example of how camera angles are used in Movies to make it look like someone has been punched when usually they are six inches from contact.

Nah nothing in it and fair enough that he got off.

Mind you I reckon this Heeney kid could still play ok without eyes anyway.
