    O.M.G.

No offence to anyone arguing the merits of the SCG vs ANZ ... but really?! I would watch the Swans play on a mud-sodden cow paddock on a rainy arvo & eat over-priced, lukewarm home brand pie, just to see them play live. Living in Adelaide, I get to see them live once or twice a year, surrounded by hostile SA supporters, & they show less than a dozen free-to-air games on TV.

Give bagging the SCG & ANZ - & each other - a rest & have a crack at Eddie or Gill or someone more worthy of your ire

Harry has been named in the starters so it looks more likely that it will be Towers for sub. Harry must have trained the house down this week. It looks as though it will be a tight competition between Cunningham and Towers this season for the last couple of spots in the side. I think this week may be to see who gets dropped for McGlynn next week.

It's intriguing that Hewett was named as an emergency ahead of both Mitchell and Robinson. I wonder what it means. Maybe Horse doesn't like playing more than 3 .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................

Stiff for Towers to start as sub after how well he played last week but it's a good reflection of the health/depth of our list.

Will be really interesting to see the way Harry plays...his speed, endurance and kicking could be huge weapons for us as long he gets his confidence up

Ordinary players only get their confidence up against ordinary sides. Then play crap against good sides. Speed, endurance are no good if you lack heart.
Better if they gave Hewett a run.

Speed is the need according to the Horse so Laidler will be the sub as we need Towers speed and he showed a bit last week.

Can you only be the sub if named on the interchange bench?

My pick for sub was Heeney to rest him up for Subiaco.

I think Harry may run with Dylan Shiel, while Bird will run with Griffin.

Isn't it usual for the emergencies to be named in alphabetical order?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
