Buddy is a genuine freak, nobody is underrating him. Really excited about seeing him on the wide open expanses of Domain Stadium next weekend.

Mummy was reported for rough conduct. From a long way away, it looked like Mummy headbutted Laidler.

Has anyone seen any vision that supports this?

I was quite surprised how much feeling there was out there with Mummy and especially Kieran.

I didn't see the incident with Laidler but there should be vision on AFL site tomorrow in that segment where all the MRP considerations for the weekend are discussed.
Re Mumford more generally, - I may have imagined this but after the siren when the usual handshakes with the opposition were going on, it seemed to me that Mumford tried to engage Pyke in conversation but Mike at first shrugged him off and kept walking and then turned towards him and seemed to say something very curtly from a distance before continuing to walk away. Maybe they were just commenting on the weather but I did wonder if Mumford's tactics during the match had upset a few of the players.

Apparently there is no vision. Quite strange for this day and age.

On another note, a week off didn't seem to harm Harry C's taste for the game; perhaps the same privilege could be extended to S Reid? He looked lost, and although he bobbed up in useful places every now and then, his disposals were terrible. And we got to see how important Smooch is in the clinches. Laidler more and more impressive, while Rampe had a forgettable game (possibly put off by the ground announcer calling him Dean). Jetta terrific. Tippett very strong, too, I thought.
Forgettable is too kind. He was our worst defender all day and was directly responsible for at least 3 goals scored by GWS. His highlight reel will be non existent this week, whilst his clanger file will take some time to review.

Zac Heeney is a very lucky little man.
He could have broken his back. Total unnatural to bend your body around the goal post like that.
                        Hope he's feeling ok today.

Don't make too much of this... Mike Pyke can be very up himself at times.

We have to pay for tickets to their home game. They can put their money into our handbag.

Since we arent hitting stadium capacity boundaries yet, it would seem like a good idea if both memberships included the "away" Derby for a little extra.

If Spotless is too small, there is always an awesome 70,000 venue just a few hundred metres away.

Really? I've found him to be sort of intensely serious. Kind of like he realises he's lucky to be here playing sport for a living, but knows he's still learning, so he seems (to me) that he's trying to be (or appear to be) focused on his career so that he can be the best Canadian, ex-rugby ruckman he can be. Doesn't smile too often (keeps his serious - grumpy? - game face on), but seems more chipper in casual interviews. That's the impression I get, for what it's worth ... 'course I don't have the pleasure of such encounters as often as you do

Compared to the rest of the team, he is very stand-offish.
