It's going to be an absolute cracker of a match Saturday night, cannot wait.
I thought Freo may have been on the way out as I have this theory that Ross Lyon burns clubs out - I still think they are at the end of the Premiership window but they will be right up there. Now that Crowley is not playing I find it hard to dislike them, even though I am lukewarm about Lyon"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

And no Dawson....The dirtiest fullback in the game right now.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

I also cannot see Bird missing out. Freo has a gun midfield and our best lockdown man is a must play. I must admit it's not so easy to predict who he will actually play on though, possibly Neale....Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

I wrote down my side to play the Dockers and ended up with 27 players. I'm pretty sure that will ensure we win the game but I'm also sure that's not allowed.
Translation: I have no clue what I'm doing...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Lloyd has been hitting targets around 30-40 mts with hard flat kicks, which I think is pretty good if you can do it with the consistency that he does. IIRC, he's kicked a couple of goals from about 50 out. Although he doesn't have the penetration of a Rampe, I think it says that he's a pretty good kick of the ball. I'd much rather he kick 30 out and hit a target than 60 to a contest.
One interesting kick on the weekend that hasn't got a comment, I think, was McGlynn's left footer to Buddy on the run that led a Buddy kicking a goal. I can't remember Benny making such an accurate pass on his right. I thought it was Sam Mitchell for moment, because he had enough time to switch to his right, but just kicked it on the left like he'd been doing it all his life.
.
I think Benny has always had a handy left foot but you could tell from his and Buddy's exchange after the goal that they both thought it was pretty flukey! They were both sporting a wry smile.Twitter @cmdil

Could see him going to Barlow, he's not giving much away in size there and neither are quick.Comment

I think Bird will go to Neale, he's a similar sort of player to Shiel from GWS (and both are in red hot form) and Bird did an absolute number on him last weekend, no reason he cant do it again.Twitter @cmdil

CD i disagree with your point re Bird last wknd vs Shiels
I watched the game twice and there weremany players that rotated on Shiels which was a brilliant strategy
Bird would have been lucky to have had 30% of the minutes on Shiels
I think that we will have a fairly similar rotation strategy against Freeo"be tough, only when it gets tough"
