So where was his running. Makes no difference how big the ground is. They targeted and roughed him up and he responded with nothing. Until he has a genuine go I will have the same opinion of him. There was a time in the game when one of our players was being monstered on the ground, and he stood 2 metres off and watched. He needed to support to help extract the footy. LJ would have gone to support. I couldn't call it a weak effort because there was no effort.
I want Jetta out of this team...NAH, just kidding

Like.
It is especially apt that players like JPK don't get criticised for not doing things not in their skill set. A possible counter is that Jetta is a little inconsistent in doing what he is meant to be doing - far more so than a JPK. However, when your team mates whose job it is to get hands on the ball aren't doing so, it is very hard for those whose job it is to use the ball creatively to do very much.Comment

ill be watching Longmire
If we changed our structure approx 15mins into the 1st half when down 3 goals and chocked up our defence the same as Freeo we wouldnt be worried about the indvs nearly as much"be tough, only when it gets tough"

It may be hard to judge too much on this week given the forecast. Having said that, if all our home games are in the wet, as they have been for the last three years, maybe we need to start recruiting players who are good in the wet.Today's a draft of your epitaphComment

Agree about the weather , Jetta and a lot the swans players seemed troubled about it i cant remember a good Swans win in the wet ?Comment

Not sure there is a difference is there? Would have thought 2005 SF was considered a good win as well?He ate more cheese, than time allowedComment

i understand what you mean. 2005 was a good win. I think what Tasmania60 meant was when was the last time we win convincingly and without much threat in the rain. At least that's what I thought they meant.Comment

Yep - Nah.The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.Comment

Agree with aguy we seam to play footy well in good conditions , but wet weather seems to do something to Jetta ,and others are AFL players so insulated that any change in to perfect conditions affect the team ? And i dont get to see many AFL games but Jetta with all his flaws is always to first out on game day practicing his passes and goal kicks , hes soft but its something he has to improve (.WORK IN PROCESS)Comment

I actually think Jetta plays well in the wet. Clean hands, excellent at finding space and weaving through traffic, you rarely see him lose his feet.
People say "when the team is struggling Jetta goes missing". I actually think it's the complete opposite, which shows how important he is to our team. Take the Port game for example which most people thought was a great win. He was the player who kicked true and ensured we were rewarded on the scoreboard early for our defensive efforts.Comment

Jetta's long and direct kicking is always useful in the wetTwitter @cmdil
