I thought I'd start a thread for those of us who are happy to chat about the Giants.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

Sitting watching the Giants home game whilst I wait for the Swans away game and quite enjoying it. I'm wondering, does the AFL scheduling TV double headers really help the Giants?
We've discussed this a but on here before, but if the AFL wanted a game almost every weekend in Sydney does making them back to back like today, which they seem to be more often than not, hinder the Giants getting some bums on seats when people would rather watch the double header and see the Swans live than head out to the Giants game? I'll admit I would have gone today if the Swans weren't on right after, and I know I'm not alone.

Toby Greene off half forward was a smart coaching move.

They're really fun to watch, they will be very good in 2 years. Their depth of young talent really is amazing.

Fantastic! Mummy put them on their back, god I wish he still wore red and white.

I've been to 4 Spotless Stadium games. 3 of them were because there was a Swans Reserves curtain raiser and the other was our Round 1 match last year. The net result is 3 wins 1 loss. The wins were over us (of course), Port Adelaide (back when they were crap but still was a big upset) and today.
They clearly need to give you dome free tickers to head out there more often, ugg!

I agree Stell that the games being back to back is counter productive. I don't think they realise the Midgets have a lot of people who follow the Swans who would go to the games if they didn't do the back to back television stuff. the next two weeks are the same then R15, 16 & possibly 23. They should separate them as much as possible.
I have been extremely anti-Giants and continue to be in some aspects.
But to my dismay I find myself heading out to the ground this weekend for a footy fix.
Partly to get my footy fix and partly because they have an exciting list. And my disgust with what Fat Eddie is doing down in Melbourne makes me want two strong teams in Sydney now.
Hopefully they can start to work on their off-field community engagement a bit better too

+1. I'm going to the Spotless Stadium as well (weather permitting). It should be a good game and have enough time to get back home to watch Swans taking on Hawks.
