Firstly you want Jetta out of the team, now Goodes is pissing you off.

Didn`t have a clue who Alicia Silverstone was so I Googled her. Apart from her being a Vegan and me loving red meat I`m sure we`d get on VERY nicely. She`s hot as...

Pity the "common" folk don't have the same respect.

Would love to see others do a similar thing as Goodes did this weekend.

This morning's media crowd interview with Goodes is informative about Adam's reasons for doing his war cry last night - all based around wanting to show pride in his culture during the AFL indigenous round. He had a different dance planned, about a swan, had the occasion arisen up the other end in front of the Swans' cheer squad. Also Jetta had something planned but unfortunately didn't kick a goal. Pity, would have loved to have seen it.

I have posted this on a separate thread but Lumumba almost did something similar in today's match in Alice Springs.

                  Teddy liked it.

Swans defender Ted Richards said he was excited by Goodes' war cry on Friday night and it had led to an over-reaction.

"If some indigenous players were to do a similar thing today in whatever game they're playing in, or tomorrow, all of a sudden we might have a great tradition," Richards told SEN.

"(It could be) a celebration, rather than an issue that some people are making it.

"As a teammates of 'Goodesy' and what he did last night, I was very excited and proud to be alongside next to him ? the Swans fans loved it."

7 and a half thousand halfwits out there have liked that page Got to love how the about part of that page suggests "This page doesn't tolerate racism'.
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."

Eddie and his minions on Foxfooty are part of the problem. I'm glad I no longer subscribe to that channel.

It is possible to think Goodesy is a flog and not be racist though. Probably a lot of the subscribers to this page are no doubt, but liking that page doesn't automatically make you a racist . Its narrow minded to label every one who dislikes Goodes as a racist. I don't like Harry O, I think he's a bit of a flog. That has nothing to do with his skin colour.

I never suggested liking that page automatically made you racist - plenty of people on there probably do, as you suggest, just think he is just a flog. But there are plenty of examples (do a trawl of a few comments and you'll see) that, at least in my mind, are pretty clear the views they hold - and I think it is reasonable to conclude they are the product of at the very least inherent racism. Pretending that they all just 'think he's a flog' is simply ignoring the underlying issue - that racism is alive and well in Australia, and the steps being taken so far to stop it clearly aren't working as well as we would have hoped.

Yes, it is true that thinking Goodes is a flog is not necessarily racist, but that facebook page invites racist images and comments. It's like saying being a member of the Ku Klux Klan doesn't necessarily make you a racist, as you might just like dressing in a white gown and having a fun night out.

I'm not surprised by the Melbourne_Blood comments. Obviously coming form a person influenced by the media to dislike Adam Goodes. This goes out to every one who thinks that is OK to boo Adam and approves of passive racism that their days on this web site should be numbered. I would encourage mods to start warning/banning those users unless they find a valid reason why should Adam still be booed. I'm sick and tired going through all the apologies why should Victoria based AFL supporters be allowed to boo Adam. Enough of this!

You missed my point . Where in my post did I say anything close to suggesting I dislike Goodesy? As to me being a slave to the Melbourne media, give me a spell mate, I live here I think I've got a pretty good understanding of the amount of bull@@@@ it sprouts regularly, and I source my media accordingly. Eddie McGuire is probably my most hated person. Don't put words in my mouth
