A Call to Arms for Goodesy

    Hi all,

I've written a piece on the recent disgraceful treatment of our champion dual-Brownlow Medallist for the Footy Almanac.

I, like many of you, am passionate about this and it simply has to stop.

The link is below. Please feel free to comment in support of Goodesy, as I'm sure there will be many on the other side of this, who will condemn.

    Enough is enough.

    Nicely done Joe.

Sometime I think the booing has become habit, and some of the people have no idea why they are booing. I booed Carey, but had a reason. I also booed Richardson, and that now embarrasses me. Mob mentality rules.

You are right, it is up to the clubs to do something about it. then again, Rose Blatty was trolled for being Australian of the Year.......which beggers belief.

Really looking forward to Goodesy's first touch on Friday night...the crowd will errupt! Going to be a very special moment, particularly given its Indigenous Round and he will be wearing the jumper that means so much to him.

The Sydney crowds already cheer when Adam gets the ball, in my experience, and even when his photo appears on the big screen when the teams are being announced. There's no doubt of the love for Goodesy at his home games.

          Well said Joe.
I dare anyone within 30 feet of me to boo Goodesy on Friday night.
I'll make sure they're removed from the stadium.
I know exactly what it's like to be racially vilified.
          It's not pretty.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

            Good on you, Annie!

Racial vilification is disgusting. No place for it. Anywhere.
