Wonder if this means we will see Mal playing against us next week.
"State league affiliate: Gold Coast (NEAFL)

Defender Clay Cameron, tall Peter Wright, rookie Greg Broughton, experienced defender Nick Malceski and ruckman Zac Smith were named among the Suns' best in their heavy 74-point defeat."

I see in the same report that "academy selection Abe David" was in the best for us in the NEAFL. Hehe!

Let's just beat em comfortably! That's all I ask.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Mal only played 2 and a half quarters, I would think he would require at least another week if not 2 in the NEAFL. He'll still be playing 'us' regardless

Who would have thought at this stage last year that Bird and Mal would be playing against each other in a NEAFL curtain raiser.

I wouldn't be at all surprised, if a desperate Coach Eade rushes Mal back into the seniors.

In the hope that playing against his old side will give him the necessary lift for a big game.

He also has the advantage of knowing our players and game style intimately.

Be in our favour if an under done Mal is rushed back.

Wasn't in good touch before the hammy, had a long break and now less than 3/4 of a NEAFL game under his belt, selection would smack of desperation.

With all the Suns missing, wonder if we might give Reg another week off just to be sure he is fit for the bigger North fwds the following week.

Charlie Dixon has been suspended by the Suns for drinking the night before the Hawks game on the weekend (along with Jack Martin, who is injured anyway), amazingly stupid.

I've never been a big fan, even when he was our coach, but I'm starting to feel sorry for Rodney.

Beam me up Eddie. I wanna go home.

A few years back he was looking like becoming a gun forward and I was becoming concerned about how would we stop him. Needn't have worried.:-)

Hi all passionate and learned friends... (sounds like sucking up....yes), I have a question to ask. I am visiting Adelaide on the weekend, no Foxtel to watch the game, apparently Swans game aren't the highlight of the weekend? Anyway, where would you suggest to watch the game amongst other red and white blooded people?
I appreciate your help if you can help.

There is something very wrong culture wise at the Suns. Dixon looked as you say a world beater a few years ago, and he has not developed barely at all recently. Big problems up in the sun by the sounds of it.

Not that I'm too worried- I'm heading up for the game on the weekend and hoping for a bit of sun, a pleasant afternoon and a good old fashion flogging being handed out by the boys in red and white
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."

I hope you are taking a few fans with you. When I was at the game last year the Swans fans in crowd where I was sitting were hopeless, only making a noise when a goal was kicked.

Peter Wright debuting for the Suns this week. 200cm 100kg full forward. I'd like to see Reid given the task on him and instructed to run off and hurt on the rebound as much as possible.

                                Give Reg another weekend off.
