Sydney Swans to recognise the mysterious fan who left club a remarkable gift

Wow I met the guy socially about 20 years ago and I know some (non-Swans) people who knew him. I could probably point a few of them in the direction of the club, if the club wants to know more, but I figure a bequest like this might be better to have an aura of mystery about it.

Amazing gesture, but I would be loathe if an academy developed kid who was funded by this generous donation, ended up at another club because of the bidding system. It's just the principle for me.

I wonder what the "memorabilia" of the other mentioned donor is ... & what the club will do with it

Wonderful story and gift to the Academy from this supporter. Well done to the club to honour the man and his generosity to nurture future Swans from NSW.

I think it shows how much the club can mean to so many.
