Mummy out for season - GWS unlikely to play finals

OK, that last bit was my opinion

Season over for Giant Mumford, Davis sidelined for up to two months - AFL.com.au

Sad for the big fella - he was starring.

Yeah wretched luck for him and the Giants, who have also lost Davis and Patful for a couple of months.

We were at that game and hadn't realised how many had to be taken off. A great shame for GWS - they were putting on a good show and were still in the hunt before disaster struck. I'd like them to do well, especially when playing out of state, but I agree with the OP, it's not going to happen this year.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Pity they can't send him to Nathan Gibbs to get fixed up.
        Poor Mummy.
(but on the other hand... sucked in cross-city rivals).
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
