Seriously, if Rohan isn't a key against Port I don't know anything about football.

If I was Ken Hinkley thinking about the Swans list and whom I would like one out in the Swans forward line from those available....

Seriously, I expect to be posting in a week;s time saying I know nothing about football - but Gary Rohan.....c'mon!

All this talk about dropping Shawshank....I'm with you but does anyone actually think it will happen? Not likely. Horse will see him as necessary experience required, especially with newer players coming in.

My initial thoughts were to play Reid at CHF. But he matches up really well with Westhoff. So I am going to throw a wild one out there. How about Kennedy play CHF? Takes a good mark, generally kicks straight and has a big tank. Not many defenders will be able to run with him all day. Bring in Hewett to play in the guts, Nankervis to play FF and provide ruck relief, Jones to start in place of Shaw, and BJ the sub.
          I like this logic

Nankervis has been groomed as backup for Tippett in the FF/relieving ruck role, so surely he steps in this week?

After listening to horses presser where he mentioned nanko as an option I reckon he will get the nod. I also previously thought they would bring in hewett but now I think they'll only use one debutant. They will also leave shaw in the team so as not to make too many changes. I also have a feeling jones may be punished for his ill discipline.

MY revised changes. I also assume Pyke will return otherwise derrickx keeps his spot

IN Nankervis, towers, Pyke, Brandon Jack ( as sub)
                OUT franklin Tippett Derrickx, jones

Nanko will play forward and ruck relief. Reid will swing forward along with towers. BJ will come on as sub as a small forward if things aren't working out with the falls and I expect towers would be subbed out.

Nankervis would be pretty disappointed not to get a run this week, especially if Pyke is still out.

Horrid brain-fade aside, Jones deserves another crack.

I agree with you. And I think he should replace shaw in the starting team. Just with the experience of tippo and buddy missing I'm now not sure this is the week to do it. That was also behind me having BJ as the sub. He offers pace and a few more games experience that allows us to change up the forward structure if needed

I'm sure he would have got some practical advice on this!!

                            Out: Buddy Tippo
                            In: Pyke Towers

I don't think we should be playing Pyke and DRex in the same team...unless Horse plans on making an aggressive (highly risky) sub and swapping one of them out for a running player at half time.
