Does anyone know a good site or AFL app that has the full player stats in games? All the AFL app and superfooty etc shows basic player stats like kicks, handballs, marks, tackles, goals etc. I would like to see the more thorough stats that show disposal efficiency and stuff like that. I know they have it in the Herald Sun usually. You would think in a world where they record nearly stats for everything in the AFL it would be easy to find but I'm struggling!

Overall I was happy with our game against port

      To have a new ruckman
      To have a injured ruckman
To have have both key forwards out

To loose Gazza our " leading " forward for half a game and the have others have to chip in on the lead

To loose our best back and key defender at a crucial stage in the game

To play against a good team absolutely desperate to start playing top 4 footy again

To stick to our structures and come out a winner was simply resilient top 4 footy

Not to mention Many players moving around in different possies to shake up the opposition was encouraging to watch

Good morning Mug Punter ... wow ... that was a low blow ... if you think that that was a convincing win against a struggling team you are dreaming ... could easily have lost it late ... so you don't think Ted is struggling? You don't think this was a bit of the old Kennedy? Perhaps the "Mug Punter" tag reflects misplaced optimism on occasions! After 60 years + following the Swans I am very comfortable with cautious / realistic assessments.

Same reason Jetta was up there for a long while.

Staging happening more and more across the competition over the past few years in my opinion. I worry that the stigma of being associated with it is diminishing too, unfortunately.

You may be right, but that would be a change from the Swans general mindset (most sides I guess) when 4 goals up at 3/4 time to structure up to try and kick more goals rather than go with your #1 defensive structure. We'll know about Shaw soon enough I guess...

His @@@@ ups would be less costly up the ground than in the D50.
Given that most of the team were back in defence, we needed some one to get the ball away from trouble, otherwise a quick kick out of defence usually comes straight back in again. He and Jetta are the only speedsters we had left.
And his plugger paddle did the job by getting the ball up the ground and out of the way.

If you have followed the Swans for that long I would think you would be very happy with the Team at the moment. The period of (relative) sustained success has not happened for long time. We are being/have been spoiled and it is great.
Sometimes we need to just step back and go wow, how wonderful it is to have my team be a very strong chance of winning every game it plays.
This is not the feeling the majority of teams supporters would have. It would be tough being a Blues/Saints/Dees ... supporter.

Try the Footy Live app. On a tablet you can see a lot of the advanced stats. On a phone you'll have to click on each player for their detailed stats.

                            Hey Scott,
Cunningham & Towers are also quite fast, so there were other options, but I was glad it was Shaw up there in the forward half and not back in defense. I would like to see Shaw go to the reserves and mentor the young players just like Ryan O'Keefe did last year as as a consequence Jones to be kept as Shaw's replacement.

Thank you to members posting on this forum. I was in an area last few days with no Wifi, no working satellite and only one WA channel 7 to watch. Apparently there was no game on Thursday night. No mention on the news, no mention on sports update during the night. Had to wait until next morning for Sunrise for a report. These West Australians are so bloody parochial. All that was mentioned were the ins and outs for the WA teams. Aargh! At least I could feel the drama, frustration and excitement through your posts.

Has anyone heard how bad Rohan's hamstring tear is? Hope it's not a bad one.
