Zak Jones gets a full game tonight in preparation to replace Shaw longer term, if the latter has another clanger laden game? hmmmm

Jones will play forward. With Buddy out and Nankervis slow and Goodes lazy they'll need as much forward pressure as they can generate

At the ground. Not quite so cold as I feared just now. Wind is dropping but still breezy and a bit of cloud cover.

Does it look greasy? I hope it isn't a repeat of last week.

Forward line could be interesting -

Towers and Rohan have a bit of height and a little sprinkle of speed.

Reid and Nankervis to be main targets and I hope we see at least 5 goals between them.

Not as bad as last week.

Personally, I hope that Rohan will be the main target. Could be a lot of fun.

Draw , as Nakervis kicks an equalising point. After the siren,of course.
Seriously , I have a bad feeling about this one.
Hopefully that's pessimism ...but I think it's realism.

And one statistical thing for tonight: even though it does seem that John Longmire hasn't been coaching us for that long, tonight he becomes the third longest serving Swans coach. His 112 games going past Ian Stewart's 111 games.

Nice first couple of touches by Shaw!

Typical kicking it straight to the opposition in our forward line! And of course giving away a 50 metre penalty which cost us a goal.

obligatory one sided umpiring and commentary

Superb play from Nankevis - he has started well.

Nankervis already shown he is better value than Tom D so that's an early positive for us moving forward
