Actually, right now, for me, I wouldn't object to him playing n if he maintains how he's playing through to the end of the year...

Goodesy is playing just about the same level from years ago. Just because of his knees maybe he needs to either play preseason or a couple of NEAFL games to get him going. I think that Goodsey might even play better if same new leaders with some new 'bloods' carrying us into the future. Parks and Dan can provide leadership to a new generation, with Tom, Jake, Isaac, Dane, Zak, Dan, Brandon, Harry and then the news kids, Rosie, George, Nick, Aliir, X, Lloyd, AJ (I hope), and others with likely Callum and maybe Dunks. Next year is the time to revitalise the group with Goodsey flying.
