Defence very, very worrying. Grundy, Richards and Shaw looking slow and cumbersome. No presence in the backline at all. Our quick players are soft. We look scarred by the grand final, or at least, like then, lacking confidence that we can actually match it with them. Rohan, Heeney and McGlynn can't come back fast enough for B. Jack, Shaw and Bird. But won't be enough.

We have been outplayed by a better team our competitive effort has been ok but our skill level and decision making is a class behind the filthy mongrel Hawks. Even though the umpiring has been crap that is not enough of an excuse to cover what has been a poor performance. Probably going to be a bigger loss than that day last year that we don't refer to by name. Their transition is at a level that probably no other team can match.Comment

Positives are that Jones is showing that he is worthy of the 22, Cunningham has played well, Nankervis definitely worth a contract extension and Goodes is amazing.
Negatives are many but as far as individual players are concerned I have my doubts that Lloyd is up to this standard physically. BJ omg lower your bloody eyes .
Generally we are an incredibly inefficient kicking side with no idea how to attack. No confidence. Go to jelly kicking at goal. Horrible to watch. This is a coaching issue.
