    Security incident in bay 317

There was an incident in Bay 317 on Saturday night that required security to be called. This is the first time since I started going to all home games in 2003 that I have seen any trouble in the stands.

Anyone know what it was all about? My daughter said that one supporter had hold of another supporter from behind and was choking him.

Sadly nothing would surprise me anymore for a game involving Hawthorn these days - after the nastiness seen by many in particular at the GF last year, but also at regular season games in recent times against them.

A bit of booze and a flogging like that and its a recipe for idiots to do idiotic things.

Was Brian Lake involved? He has form.
