Very interesting and unusual choice. I'll be watching for sure.

        Poor AJ.
I will be very surprised if he makes it back.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

            Amen to that.

Can't believe they can fill a half hour show with AJ's story but obviously it's good enough to fly. Let's all hope that AJ can fly again.

                Keep AJ

AJ is just a great kid and so mature after the last 3 years. I really, really, hope the Swans can work it out, I knew it a business but good players are hard to find. 3 year contract and will not play a single game. Needs a scan on the knee for the bone graft and if that's OK, then which operation. LARS means maybe ready to play next year or normal means 2017. Big decisions for AJ and club. Unfortunately I can only see the Swans offering a Rookie list position next year to AJ. Please keep him.

It was a struggle, poor old Mike was going around in circles with repetitious questioning.

To be frank, only a Swans fan could of found that interesting.

But what shone through was A J's determination, and diligence, to further his footy career.

He comes across as a fine young man.

I hope the Swans stick with him.

Yeah it wasn't fascinating but he is clearly determined, he wouldn't be there or remain at the club if he wasn't a determined fella. His confidence is still huge. He can make it back, I'm convinced!

Jaeger O'Maera loved it according to his tweet last night.

                        He'd have an interest.
Alex Johnson of the Swans is injured in this contest with Jaeger O'Meara of the Suns, he was carried off the field during the 2013 NAB Cup round 03 match between the Sydney Swans and the Gold Coast Suns at Blacktown International Sportspark, Sydney.

I am confident that he will make it back and I will be looking forward to his return. He is 193cm with a huge tank ( he was in the top 5 in pre-season 3km time trials) with speed and endurance who can play on smalls and talls.

Alex would have been inspired massively by Daniel Menzel at the MCG last night. What a great comeback match after four knee reconstructions!
Here's hoping Alex can get back and both Alex and Daniel can have the careers their talent deserves.

Agree. Menzel was great last night, what a return! You could see his undoubted talent before all the bad luck set in, and now it's good luck to him, deserves it for sheer perseverance and missing a flag in 2011.. Same goes for Alex as well of course!
