Well when you have a cheating manipulative body in charge of the AFL that give a team trading restrictions as pay back for recruiting Buddy then you have no chance. Before Colless's outburst I always knew that was the reason, I also believe the umpiring is so obviously against the swans week in week out.

You know some things are sometimes more important than football, and I don't particularly mind losing to Geelong tonight. They played well and their attitude towards Goodesey has shown that they are a footy club with a superb culture. So good luck to them. Looking forward to see how Heeney develops and a couple of finals games for him and some of our other young players will be a bonus this year...

What can we get for Lloyd - he just doesn't stand up to pressure.

This group is not going to win a flag - let's start bringing in some new blood to give them some exposure to finals like pressure.

We are a good team when under no pressure but as the pressure builds we fade away. Bloods NEVER did that. We now look like a 6 - 10 team.

Yeah smart move subbing off Nankervis - making Tippett the sole ruckman and absolutely no structure up forward. 10 points after halftime. Pathetic effort from our coaching staff.

I thought our endeavor was there but having nothing up forward would be disheartening. I normally don't gun for the coach but this one stops at Longmire.

1 goal after half time is disgraceful, Cant believe how many 1 on 1 contests we have lost this year. Worst half of football I have seen in a while. Umpiring was very 1 sided.

Disappointing performance, no heart after halftime. Goodes can hold his head up for his effort , and a couple of others Heeney and Joey most notably , but just another lazy soft effort. The likes of which we've seen many times in the second half of the season. If we miraculously manage to finish in the 4 , we'd be unfairly robbing a better team of a chance at doing something special in September, as there is zero chance of us getting anywhere near a prelim, let alone a GF or a flag.

And before all the positive dreamers chime in with 'well we didn't have buddy!', I'm telling you right now, buddy would have made stuff all difference to that 2nd half! It would have been the same old situation where we would bomb it to buddy 3 or 4 on to 1 and then wonder why we can't score...

                      Fitzpatrick influence

What disgusting umpiring, an absolute disgrace. I suspect it was Fitzpatrick organizing some pay back for Colless revealing their conversation. Fitzpatrick will make sure he teaches the Swans a lesson. Cop that Swans! Apart from that we cannot run out a game. We always get beaten in the second half, we look twice as tired as the opposition. Do we need a new fitness coach?? Are we not training hard enough??

Felt we were already behind when McGlynn was out and Nanka was picked. To come out and show that putrid skills and intensity was very disappointing.
What has happen to Lloyd? His decision making, poise and kicking accuracy were once his strengths.
Pretty straightforward to beat us, clog the corridor and put extra back.

That game sums up where our midfield rotation and ruck clearances are at

When teams get going we don't have the run to spread with them

We were outplayed and outclassed tonight.

Stop the bull@@@@ about umpiring - they don't kick the ball, they don't fumble the ball, they don't drop marks, they don't kick the ball to the opposition - all they do is call what they see.

Every decision is going to make only 50% of the crowd happy.

If you think you can do better, then have go at it.

I have respect for those guys, I have been there and done it.
