Dermott is just a wee bit dumb... like Eddie he thinks if he repeats something enough times it'll become the truth.

The whole fox footy analysis showed Collingwood highlights?! Umm, they lost!? Eddies boys through and through, even sandy Roberts, thought he would have a spine. Nope

Like Jack Jr's game tonight. Goes to show that we need to play a few youngsters and give them some back-to-back games to build confidence. Would like Z Jones to be a regular now that Parker is surely a long out.

Gutsy win by the boys and everyone contributed something. Special mention to Captain Jack, a real captains effort tonight.

              Both captains led well.

I'm really happy they have kept persevering with Jack Jnr... He will keep improving..
                Well done to him..
Goodes on the left boot is gold. What aN EXTREMELY useful talent to be able to kick effectively with both in AFL.
Impressive effort to slug out that win.

For a close game with so much at stake for both clubs , it was not particularly exciting.
We did not look that good , but on the positive side , given our injuries , it was a very spirited win.

Whilst it was a gutsy victory l still saw no evidence that Lloyd is over his form woes. For all the criticism of Cunningham he did a number of good things and showed some pride after the error in the goal square by really having a crack.Lloyd has no self confidence and hence no form.He is not very quick, he is not strong and his tank is only OK. He is keeping Jones out of the side ATM and it is no good for anyone that he is in the side. He's a great kid but this is ruining him and costing the team as well.

Pyke looked much better tonight.. Just goes to show how much playing with an injury hampered him. If i could say one thing to Heeney it would be to keep his feet. He attacks to ball so hard and if he doesn't win it generally ends up on the turf.. Love him though.. I was surprised by the dream team points at the end of the game.. Mitchell took Swan for me. I am not convinced we will be able to mix it with the big boys in Sept but we are hanging in there by the skin of our teeth.

Actually Pyke looked hampered all night and is definitely playing with an injury. He couldn't chase at times but kept on keeping on. It was a great effort under duress and his contribution as a forward in the last was immense.

                            Mitchell was superb.

Our structures stink. Longmire should hang his head in shame for the cow paddock we totally surrender in our forward half.

Bear in mind that they need X-Rays/scans to confirm that.

Also a fracture could range from an avulsion fracture of the distal attachment anterior talo-fibular ligament, a fractured fibula, fractured tibia. All pretty much mean season over but the severity would determine how long until he gets back.

One of the main things I take out of tonight is I love Lewis Jetta, and if goes home to WA I will track him down, grab by the ear and drag him back to Sydney. I think he's got what it takes to be a future leader of the team.
