The description of Parker was ashen. It is more than an avulsion fracture or a fibular fracture I would think.

He is such a beautiful mover, isn't he. Also, when he did the dance against WCE , the photo of him in spear throwing pose was of such a proud young warrior. It would be tragic for us if he went back to WA. He is a delight to watch.

Word outside the rooms is that Parks has broken his foot.
Zac Heeney thinks he has broken a rib.
I love Goodesy. I got a tshirt signed for KTigers... can someone tell me how to upload it here. I think it may be too big (I have no idea how to reduce the mbs).
        Help!!!

How is that Tom Mitchell kid?
            Yeah, not bad.

            Percentage, percentage, percentage.

Why can't we get the ball past half back?
            Anyone?

Mitchell's best game of the year, Brandon's best ever game. Grundy very good again, and Jetta had a rare good last quarter. Gary was important with few touches and will get better. Pykey encouraging.

If we play with the intensity and desire shown in the last quarter, we're still some chance. Maybe it's a boost of confidence we need. It seems unlikely, but there's a pulse.
You didn't mention Teddy, Rampe & Rhyce. All were pretty ordinary tonight. Teddy was ok but let himself down with some dreadful covering and easy body repositioning. Well done the back line but I would prefer you kicked to our blokesnot theirs,=.

Yeah, Teddy in particular is a real worry.

I stand corrected, but l,m not seeing him do much with it ATM. He is not sticking or breaking tackles, disposal is still bad and he is becoming a source of turnovers. Some of that is confidence and he needs to find that for himself in the Ressies.

Don't agree on Rhyce, he was a constant option going forward. One of his better games.

Today changes the completion of the whole season. we appear to have lost 2 players to the LTI , Parker and either Robinson or Hewett. That means that Newman and Perri's can be upgraded .

With Laidler's hamstring that probably means the Xav comes in for him, Newman for Parker and the option of Perris as a mid if Lloyd is dropped.

You saying the crowd was poor last night at the SCG Barry? If so then you really need a reality check, your bagging of the SCG is quite tiresome.....

I don't think we're much chance of the flag this year but last night was a good win against a team that is not as bad as their ladder position suggests.

It would be a miserable existence if you only enjoyed seasons when you won the flag. And just quietly, if we finish top four then we are in with a chance

I've only been able to watch the tackle in which Luke Parker's ankle/lower leg (?) was broken on video replay on my iPad and also look at the still image. But to me it looks as if Adams trapped Luke's leg between his legs and then used his foot to take Luke down in the tackle, so causing Luke to collapse with both his and Adams' weight bearing down on his ankle/leg which is folded beneath him, thus causing the bone break. If this is what happened, surely this tackle technique is as bad (or worse) and just as dangerous as sliding in for a low ball. And the resulting injury to Parker was a predictable outcome of that form of tackle?

Many of the posters on this site seem to focus entirely on the negatives or bait others with their particular hobby horse that's you Barry
It's four points which means we are still a chance to win the flag however to do that we need to play a better style of accountable football.
Interesting comment by Leigh Matthews ( I think ) after the tackle by BJ. "that's how all the Swans used to tackle" .
How quickly we turn on those that have served us well previously, there are so many examples but one that was highlighted last night was Mike Pyke who so many wanted retired because he was useless, unfit, had no idea how to ruck, can't mark, lazy etc etc.
If he can get back to his form of a couple of years ago he will be an asset during the finals .
I agree it was a frustrating game to watch but this morning there are 14 teams who would swap ladder positions without hesitation. Cmon you bloods !!!

I turn fox off when Dermott (the idiot) is talking cant stand his always right comments, know so much why doesn't he try for a caching jib. I believe he still peeved at Swans for dumpoing him years ago. But back to the tv did anyone else notice Stewie Dews is not in for either the Carlton or Adelaide jobs, does this mean a orderly changeover is in the wings again/
