mmm feeling very unsure about the win this week, seem to lack any forward line. Was really hoping for McGlynn and Franklin back. Hopefully we still scrape the win and Doggies drop it against the Weagles. First time I've barracked for the Eagles in a long long time

Poor old Georgey Porgy misses out due to concussion. Never get a go this year but come back from the break, very poorly, and has been chasing to catch up the whole year. I would like to see him in the seniors. Good to Rosie coming up but will get the vest. I now have a new whipping boy with Towers in my sights.
If we play a running game I think Towers will play better and get more ball but if we play defensive then Towers will make 0 tackles and win 0 contested balls.
Big trouble. Arguably our two most dangerous players from last week unexpectedly out. Big opportunities for Jones, Towers and Brandon Jack. Heeney is going to have to kick straight this week and hopefully Tippett spend more time in the forward 50. Would be interesting to know whether last week's run has made Pyke feel better or worse.
It feels like we're busted, and this is it. Not to say I'm resigned to it: I'll be tipping and cheering us, but it would take a massive effort.
The great thing about fielding a team like this is that anything can happen. Yes I'm wearing my optimistic hat, but I'm excited to see what Rose will be like. Jones is getting another run too and BJ has just found a little form. Not so long ago, I was crying out for a few youngsters to come through. Well, it's here. Whatever happens I'll be cheering the Swannies on.
Rose will obviously get the stupid vest but I've seen him play twice this year and he is very impressive. Looking forward to seeing him in senior action, he'll be best 22 next year IMO, just has footy smarts and clever moves.
Bad luck for Hewett, would have got the call up I reckon if he wasn't concussed last week.
Interesting to see how Horse uses our players. Tippett to play most of the game forward and maybe Reid to help Pyke out in the ruck? Rampe in the midfield and Reid to help down back? Heeney in the midfield?

I love this kind of game. It will really show the character of the team. We need and I expect big games from JPK, Hanners, Macca and KJ. A great opportunity for our next generation of players to show what they're made of. A really important game for Towers. Rose will almost certainly be the sub.
