    BOUNCE!!!!
I'm going to miss screaming that out every time he holds the ball and runs.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Though he has actually been in good form lately.
Since he does seem genuinely popular around the club, it will be interesting to see if he is retained in some sort of off field role. Perhaps some sort of development role would be a good fit?

          He's a really nice bloke.
He laughed his head off when I first met him and told him that I'm so glad we got the faster Shaw...
(This was a few weeks after the incident where he may or may not have run from the police... )

Reckon his last month or so has been pretty good. It's the right call though.

Great pickup for effectively nothing. Solid contributor for a long time.

We may have a new developement coach next year....And/ or a new runner.

Great career at the Swans.... after a lacklustre one at the Pies....Perfect!

Not everyone whose time has come recognises its arrival, so credit to Rhyce. And heartfelt thanks for his outstanding contribution to the club. He has been a solid contributor at several levels and earned our respect and affection. He'll go hard to the end.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Sad, but not unexpected, to see him go and his timing is spot on. He'd probably make a great umpire - since there aren't any from NSW - but that ain't going to happen. I did happen to notice when he was walking off the ground after the game he gave Kenny a big hug on the way down the race... could have been a clue there, maybe.

He's had his ups and downs, but we love him, he's one of us! Out of curiosity, does anyone know why he always leaves his jacket on till the start of the game?

The highlights reel did not have any of his 'bounce' runs - surely his single most important 'skill'.

I acknowledge that Rhyce was always trying, using his run and pace to create attacking options for many years and probably played his best game for the year against the magpies.

                          History states:
                          232 games so far
                          138 games for the SWANS

Runner up - Skilton Medal 2009

Rhyce gave the Swans far more then the Magpies and I have retired the whip for the rest of the year.

Thanks Rhyce for your 7 years of effort and becoming a great 'Team player' for the club.

No negatives today as all successful clubs needs players like Rhyce to assist the club in the hunt for the 'Holy Grail'.

                          Salute!!????????????

Hear hear! I've been critical of Shaw this year, because his brain farts have hit another level of regularity, but his last month has been very good, and no one at all can question just how good an acquisition he has been for our club - and I really hope he stays around the club, as he is a great influence for the younger guys, and has plenty left to give.

Bravo Rhyce on a very fine career, and for his fantastic contribution to this club. Still time for it to be topped off in September/October if we can get our @@@@ together!

Good career and sounds like his off field work has been even better than his onfield stuff
