Round 1 last year was just like this. Before the game it was so hot I decided to take shade waiting under the stands. One hour later I was taking shelter under the same stands from the rain

That was the best that the live stream has ever worked. I actually got to watch the game. Clearly a big difference in skill level between the two sides but swans didn't really have that many listed players playing and it was a big improvement in the score line from the previous time they played each other.

Interesting choice for a sub for the giants as they wouldn't want to lose a mid early! McCarthy is fairly mobile though.

I thought he would have started so they could stretch our defence

McCarthy has been the sub before and played well in that role. Had a big impact in the 4th qtr.

I hope Laidler is 100% because it would be bad if he breaks down after being under an injury cloud!
