Don't mess with form I sayStill think we should have rested a couple, especially if there are any who are a bit sore. Time will tell and I would hate for a couple of injuries this week to key players! I know we need to win but I think we are playing well enough to handle the Gold Coast even with a couple out.Comment

I trust the brains trust enough to believe if a player would have benefited considerably by being rested, they would have been. I see this as a sign we are pretty healthy and unlike some recent seasons, are not limping into finals battered, bruised and exhausted...Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

Re team selection, I think momentum is better then fresh players. We have done the right thing. If a key player gets injured so be it. Finals is about hard desperate footy not cute tactics.Comment

McVeigh out with calf soreness, not a bad move to give the veteran a week off before finals. Don't like Towers in though, would prefer Rose in or a Davis debut instead but oh well.Comment

McVeigh has a history of calf soreness. Reason it is Towers in, is that he has played a number of times in the 1's, so it is a continuity thing and senior fitness in case he is required in the finals. Would be nice to give Davis a run but it shows he is not far off.Comment

Must be putting him in the shop window 'On sale'. Towers will provide nothing until his contract finishes. Might fit into the Saints or Bulldogs system not ours.Comment

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment
