    I like out chances.

      Really?

A healthy, rested Freo will bring their high pressure, hard physical game style, that will be helped further by a wet slippery track.

With the outs we have, can we match them for 4 quarters?.....Unfortunately, I doubt it.

Having said that, it's backs against the wall, total underdog status...A natural habitat for the Swannies....It's a dream I'll stick with, but with little conviction.

That muppet Chamberlain is umpiring? I'm not even going to bother watching the game. That flog will do anything to turn us over.
LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.

Don't think he will get anywhere near a game. I think Rose will be first emergency. I was surprised they didn't pick Hewett.
sorry, but that doesn't make sense to me. If there are 3 warmup injuries or gastro or anything else keeping 3 players out, Hiscox gets a game. Also, if he's only there for "experience", couldn't they select, say, Bird, as the 3rd emergency & fly Hiscox over as well for experience?

Bird is probably going through some sort of match simulation in Sydney in case he's required in the coming weeks.

The bigger problem is Dean Margetts is umpiring. We have already experienced his extreme home town bias.

Margetts and chamberlain umpiring, buddy out with mysterious issues and jack hurting his knee in an unfortunate collision in a match we could have rested a few.... Have we been cursed?

P.S. would love to spring Rose on them to throw their defense into confusion, don't be predictable please JL

Genuinely amazes me how many people worry about umpiring.

Hopefully Dalgleish is horribly biased in tonight's game and there is uproar so Margetts pulls his head in.

And how many people think the umpires have it in for us.

Same can be said for most teams' supporters across the comp too....

If we win, I'd be surprised and very stoked.

My main worry with this game is that we don't know how to play good wet weather football and that several of our players have poor wet weather skills as well as the wrong body type to succeed in the wet. All on a ground we hardly ever play on.

                          Quite a breeze likely too.
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!

Exactly. I've heard Fremantle supporters concerned about the same umpires as Swans supporters.

My expectations are very low for this probably on par with my expectations in 2012 when they travelled to Adelaide or 2006 when they played against WCE. I won't be disappointed if they lose, because, as we know, history seldom repeats itself. At least we get one home final.

Sums up my expectations combined with the fact that we don't play good wet weather football as well as the critical injuries that have come at the wrong time. However, I am still hopeful of winning next week in Sydney against either Roos or Tigers.
