Brett Kirk returning to the Swans as an assistant coach
So happy to have Kirky love around the place again. He will be a good energy balance; he is a trained teacher; he has a wonderful smile; he is a good man; he is also tough and very very smart.
He will do us a power of good. Don't care about the tactics so much as his presence. You have to admit it.....
If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood

Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT
The politics of this move are brilliant if you want to have a look through Machiavellian lenses.
Stuart Dew is the air apparent to Longmire. Now Kirk comes to in to challenge Dew for that status.
While Dew and Kirk compete hard for the next in line status, Longmire gets a few more years at the top.
If your a CEO and another executive is building a case as your successor you bring in another executive to compete against the clear successor. While there competition goes on you continue to run the company and people now don't know who the clear successor is. It buys you more time in the CEO job.
