    Where are they now?

I began watching the 2005 finals series yesterday (as the off-season is a big footy drought) and loved seeing that great team in action. But I was left thinking two things:
    a) Where are the lads now?
And, b) Wouldn't it be wonderful if I could support a business someone owned by purchasing a product or service?

Here is a list from the 2005 finals series. Please share if you have any information about their current employment context:

    1 - Barry Hall
    2 - Nick Davis
    4 - Ben Matthews
    5 - Ryan O'Keefe
    6 - Craig Bolton
    10 - Paul Williams
    12 - Nic Fosdike
    13 - Adam Schneider
    16 - Darren Jolly
    17 - Tadgh Kennelly
    19 - Michael O'Loughlin
    20 - Luke Ablett
    21 - Leo Barry
    24 - Jude Bolton
    26 - Sean Dempster
    27 - Jason Ball
    28 - Jared Crouch
    30 - Lewis Roberts-Thomson
    31 - Brett Kirk
    32 - Amon Buchanan
    37 - Adam Goodes
    42 - Paul Bevan

No need to restrict this to the 2005 team either. Any past player would be great. Some current roles are self-evident too, e.g. we see Nick Davis running around a fair bit during matches as a runner, but does he own a business too?

I've got a few for you ( pretty obvious though )

Sean Dempster is still playing footy for Se Kilda.

Barry Hall is in the media for fox footy. Not sure what else he does.

Brett Kirk is the new forwards coach at the Sydney Swans.

Darren Jolly tried his hand at reality TV on the block

Michael O'Loughlin is the head coach of the Sydney Swans Academy.

Doesn't Crouchy also own (or part own) a winery or a label? I think it's called Brothers Parade.

Kennelly is also working for the AFL in development and recruitment - he seems heavily involved in the overseas combines.

Whenever I watch the 2005 SF (which is fairly frequently - the last quarter, anyway) I am taken by how many players of both clubs are still actively and visibly involved in football. In addition to the Swans players who have found their way into the media, into coaching or onto the AFL commission, we have Playfair and Harley who are now on the Swans' staff, Ling and Mooney in the media, Sanderson still involved in the coaching fraternity (with the AIS now), and quite a few still playing (Ablett, Bartel, Enright, S Johnson, Kelly - only just retired - and possibly a couple of others who I've forgotten).

Craig Bolton used to be the NSW/ACT AFL head (succeeded Tom Harley in the role), now does radio commentary for the ABC (at least part time)
Luke Ablett is a fairly active on Twitter (Luke Ablett (@luke_ablett) | Twitter) and pens the occasional article for The Guardian
LRT has a corporate job - not sure where but has been spotted in a suit in the city by a colleague. On weekends, he is a coach for the Sydney Uni NEAFL team.
Paul Williams had more than a few years as assistant coach at the Dogs (interim when Rocket was sacked) and Carlton. Don't think he is in the footy industry any more.

                  Stephen Doyle - GWS assistant
Jason Saddington - GWS Academy head coach

He was, but left that role last year.

LRT's job is in N. Sydney I think, I have to avoid the Greenwood centre when I'm wearing my LRTee... that would be a little stalky.
Jude Bolton played a game this year for East Devonport (they beat Smithton, he kicked a couple).
Kennelly is also (usually) the AFL guy on www.sportsfan.com.au

Andrew Schauble (still can't believe he never got back in the 2005 team) looks like he works for a rowing equipment company. He spent a lot of time working and playing a bit of footy overseas after retiring.
