and I value your excellent opinion. I believe the team would benefit from another defender eg. Jones so unfortunately, in my view Robbo makes way. The team is probably lucky neither of us are selectors but hey it's fun to express an opinion.Comment

Would just like to pat myself on the back for the suggestion Rampe take Darling and Teddy play as the third tall / loose tall. Glad the coaches read these threads, I'll be awaiting Teddys thank you note. Your welcome Ted [emoji6]Comment

Some out there suggestions on here, cannot believe we'd look at wrecking Robbo's confidence now he is establishing himself as a senior player.
I'd be careful with Laidler and of he is out I'd bring Jones straight back in.
Talk of nursing Mill and Paley at this stage is just plain crazy and could wreck their confidence, there's no reward in being dropped. If they need a break for soreness later in the year then give them a week of around week 16-18 but I see no evidence they need to be dropped.
The likes of Towers and Rose will get their chances again but I don't fancy tinkering for the sake of it. Hewett took his chance and it's his spot to lose now. Plus we've got Rohan and Reid to come back as well so there's five players (Rose, Towers, Jones, Rohan and Reid) out of the 22 I'd be really confident coming in to the 22 which is a great sign for our depth.
We'll get injuries unfortunately but for now these guys need to knuckle down and work hard in the twos and earn their spotsComment

Absolute tripe about resting players after Round 5. There is a bye mid season you know. It is not about the individual but the team. You go resting players here and there and the balance and dynamic of the team changes. When you are on a good thing, stick to it.
Well there you go. With the news on Ted we don't dare rest anyone next week. He will only miss one.Comment

Ted has a fractured eye socket...He'll miss 2- 3 matches. Richards ruled out - sydneyswans.com.au.
Hopefully Laidler will be OK for this week..
Given it's Brisbane...Not many big forwards to worry about.
It'll be interesting to see who we replace him with...Probably Jones to cover one of their small nippy forwards.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment
