WHEN WE ARE WINNING

Why is it that not many supporters vocalise their disappointment with the guys that have run with roles

BUT

when we loose there are many people who vocalise their disappointment with the players that have the tagging or run with roles i.e. generally because they are low on disposals or there is the appearance that these players are not diving in and having a go

Jack, Cunningham and Parker did tremendous jobs last night with their alternating run with defensive roles and established a checkmate for Norths

This allowed Mitchell, Hannes, Lloyd etc to run wild

I admit that I used to be guilty of that! Not anymore. Just watching the game on TV, some players seem to only do three of four things that stand out in the whole game, now I assume they are the ones who are doing a job which allows 'the stars' to shine, rather than be critical. In fact I admire them! It must not be easy to have to play a role that gains you few fantasy points or votes and little recognition - outside the club.

Especially easy to do when watching on tv.
At the game at least you get a broader view of what the players are doing, how hard they are running to makes space etc
