    Hewett

If I am a list manager at Adelaide or Port (in particular), young Hewett is a player whose ear I'd definitely be getting into, to see if he wants to return to Adelaide and maybe get earlier midfield opportunities than he will at the Swans. The skill set he's demonstrated this year has been very impressive.

So the news he's recommitted to the Swans is great for us. I think he's going to become an important member of the team in the very near future.

Was so pleased to see that he has signed with the Swans. He is needed.

Fantastic news. Becoming an important player. Already a reliable, mature looking player for his age.

          Fantastic news.
As a side note, I saw Marty Mattner at Sydney Airport on Sunday, still rocking his club-issued number 29 backpack.

Where did you read this? I can't see anything on the website.

            All good. Found the video: Hewett re-signs - June 1, 2016 - sydneyswans.com.au

We're doing a great job of keeping this list together.

Good early move by the Swans to keep the wolves at bay.....

Mitchell, especially on recent form, will a become a major target and a very expensive one, if we don't get him signed soon.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT

Excellent, I like the cut of his jib!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

The couple of times I saw him play ressies he looked a cut above NEAFL standard so it's no surprise that he's made the grade once some retirements opened the way.

Has a good skill set, good footy brain and slices through traffic in an impressive way. Just adds to our great midfield depth so nice signing because there is no doubt he was on Crows and Power radars.

I saw Marty outside just before the game.
God love him... he's STILL the nicest bloke!!

Yep - the disappointing thing is I can see him being the one to miss out to bring Reid in. Personally I'd take Hewett. Swans always look too tall with Reid in.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Rumour mill seems to be saying he will re-sign but I'll believe it when I hear it. I said that if he hasn't signed by June he was seriously at risk, if he hasn't signed by end of June he is as good as gone but I remain hopeful
