    Retention allowance.

I was thinking about the plight of the northen clubs where players are continuing to leave at great numbers from lions, suns and giants and maybe us too now cola has gone.

It really is fair to have a retention allowance for clubs where their are not enough local players to fill a team. Swans and lions should have had an increase in retention allowance when giants and suns joined because the ratio of nsw/qld teams to local players doubled, putting them at a big disadvantage compared to retaining players in vic,sa or wa.
The retention allowance should simply be a % of nsw/qld in comp.

Yes. Something like a Financial Burden of Housing Allowance or FBoHA for short.

Funny how Eddie was whinging about our $400K concessions when they are happy to pay a guy $800K to play ressies when their squad in injury riddled
I propose an Allowance for Melbourne Clubs who poorly recruited, It could be called the "Cant Like Overpaying Kids of Ex-Players"......or CLOKE for short
