    Whitfield Has Upset Someone!

"The AFL launched an investigation into reports Whitfield stayed at former GWS welfare manager Craig Lambert?s house to avoid drug testers - with the former number one draft pick?s ex-girlfriend alerting the club of the incident in May 2015.

Now, it has been revealed that the same ex-girlfriend alerted ASADA of the incident via an email two months after contacting the club directly.

According to Fox Sports? Jake Niall, Whitfield?s former partner reached out to the Australian anti-doping body after she felt her first contact with the Giants had been ignored. " New details emerge over Whitfield's alleged test dodging | Sporting News - NFL | NCAA | NBA | MLB | NASCAR | UFC | WWE | Sporting News

So I gather from this, Lachie Whitfield has upset the ex-girlfriend so much she has gone to GWS with the details. When no publicity then off to ASADA. Can a bow be drawn that since no publicity, the media has been contacted?

This investigation has been going on for 15 months.

Does not sound like an amicable break up.

LOL at the bottom story in that link of the father in response to the Nic Nat book week 'blackface' controversy, dressed his son in a West Coast jumper, sprinkled white powder on his nose and sent him off to school as Ben Cousins....

So true. We hear all the time about the p*ssed off male ex partner using violence. That is much worse then providing incriminating evidence.

That sounds better then the truth. The father took the photo with the white powder on nose but did not go to school that way. Still questionable action.

Quite right. That's why I virtuously didn't complete the quote so it could refer to either sex. (Where's the smug smiley?)

                Isn't that just the best.
                I loved it.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

                  No. I agree.
But in this case it is.

Or maybe she is an ex that had concerns about his well being, so reported it first to the place (GWS) who was supposedly meant to look after him. Heard nothing back from that place so decided to report to ASADA.

Asada has handed this back to the AFL to investigate as it seems to be illicit instead of PED's, so let's hope they have learnt from the Essendon debacle.

Yes, it is a concern that all the questions and insinuations are around the woman in the story. That is not the issue, unless she lied, the issue is taking illicit drugs, avoiding the tests and those that helped avoid the tests.
This article says it a lot more eloquently thank I can.
