While greatly admiring what the Bulldogs have done on the field this year - let's face it, they've been magnificent - I have no other positive feelings towards them. I don't like their supporters and the fact that Tony Liberatore featured so much on last night's telecast really was hard to stomach. We Melbourne based Swans can now look forward to a week long media bombardment of the gallant underBulldogs "doing it for Victoria." I'm predicting a Bulldogs related picture on the front of the Herald Sun every day this week! Let's hope it will be an unhappy ending for them!

Yes, but I still believe that AFL didn't want all Sydney GF hence the umps scrutiny of the Giants players and the lopsided free kick. If that kind of scrutiny was done in the QF, probably they wouldn't have won. I hate to see AFL orchestrating who they want to see playing in the finals. It's becoming a joke.Comment

Understand your point, particularly regarding Liberatore, who was nothing but a dirty sniper thug, but I do admire this team and their coach and think Mrs D hit the nail on the head with her confidence V arrogance quote. While greatly admiring what the Bulldogs have done on the field this year - let's face it, they've been magnificent - I have no other positive feelings towards them. You'll certainly be bombarded with all things doggie down there this week, but I think that's a good thing and takes a bit of pressure off us.
This is the first GF we have played in my life time that I haven't despised the opposition! That's kinda weird.....Comment

I was blown away by the Doggies yesterday, what a great atmosphere.
I think there is a reasonable chance they played their Grand Final yesterday to be honest and I do think if we bring our A game we will win.
Good for the league that GWS didn't make it to the GF and actually good for them as a club too. Them winning (and I firmly believe they would have beaten us) would have been too much too soon and I think some setbacks don't hurt. Though the "It's Our Time" headline (yes, after all five years) by the Rupert Rag was so incredibly entitled.
What I saw there from GWS last night were consumers, let's hope in 10-15 they are genuine fans. Only time will tellComment
