Someone did say earlier this week that a friend had seen McVeigh at a clinic for scans.

Who replaces Rohan in the forward line will be an interesting call. In terms of like-for-like, Towers is the most logical replacement but he didn't do himself many favours in last week's NEAFL GF. Rose could be the lucky one to come into the team.
I thought Towers as soon as Rohan went down, my only concern with towers is his tackling, its doesn't exist, something we will miss with rohan.

I hope Jones gets up BUT a heavy knock like that takes a few weeks to recover.

I'm sure Hanners said Jones still hasn't passed any tests.

I am still concerned at our lack of pace, shall we make it both dogs and the fluros worry me with their leg speed. A few times we were burnt tonight.

Me too. With rohan out we need towers back and firing.

However i think we match up will against geelong so a big chance next week.

                  amazing effort by the BLOODS

i can't think of any team in the top 8 that had 7 top 22 players out and replaced by young ones who truly stepped up to make this victory possible??

imagine GWS winning without the equivalent positional players???

You know the narrative is all about the bulldogs but heck to rebuild on the run with new young players should be tlked about a lot more!!

And yeah the bont is good, but heeney is better.

I think we will beat cats and if gws beat the dogs i rekon we win BUT if dogs win they will be riding on such a massive wave of emotion and huge support and they seem to have the resilience to deal with it, they win. They have the contested footy and speed to beat us.

Yeah we were given the option for the fri nite final due to being the higher ranked team but apperently we declined. Not sure why as crows would have had less break and would have given us 7 days lead in to the prelim. Seems strange now that we have a 6 day break v doggies with 8 day break.

The Bont is very special, but Heeney will be more special.
