    Cheer, Cheer for Aliir Aliir!

4.22 in the a.m....can't sleep because a little ditty has been forming in my head.

Can't believe it took me so long to think of it. Enjoy, learn, sing it all together!

    Cheer, Cheer for Aliir Aliir!

You know your a cult hero when songs are composed in your honour ????????????
I look forward to many pleasurable years watching him..
His ability to look so composed and yet still create an expectation of excitement to come when he has the ball make him a worthy recipient of your creative talents.
Well done now what have you got for Heeney ?

Can't agree...the it's is a crotchet...I'll amend the line thus and that should clear things up

Exactly what I thought! Better rhythm, but great work.... .....or replace the last line with, "Making Swans fans grin from ear to ear!". Just a thought.

              Super stuff, Love it.

Just singing it, it's very catchy, but for mine if the last line is to mirror "onwards to victory" then dropping the "it's" completely works best for me.

Aliir Aliir, so good they named him twice!!!

Nice. Anyone catch the SCG announcer last weekend introducing AA as "the 12 game veteran", made us smile.

Hey folks, do your respective better halves know that this is the sort of stuff you get up to when you are, you know "really really
                          busy at work"?

Great effort but there are already 2 simpler Aliir songs out there and it's going to be hard to break them.

One is "Aliir, Aliir" to the tune of the soccer "Ole, Ole" chant. The other is "Here we go Aliir, Aliir, Aliir" to the tune of the Ricky Martin World Cup song.
