A quick update from Swans HQ. There was a delay with the ballots being run today, but they are now underway. Charges should start appearing on credit cards very soon, and as always, the full ballot results will be available on the website from 9am tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

Aliir cleared of major structural damage scans showing a low grade MCL strain

But from a structural perspective, the MCL contributes to the medial/lateral stability of the knee. Laxity can contribute to potential further injury to other structures. Taping/bracing can help, however, it's not wholly preventative and probably contributes a psychological benefit (which in itself is of use)

On a personal note, I strained an MCL many years ago, continued to play and 2 weeks later was having my first ACL recon. The 2 events are likely mutually exclusive, but it cannot be guaranteed. This anecdote in no way relates Aliir's situation

How long? I only just read somewhere that you have to have the money in account otherwise they move on to the next person... So i'm hoping I can change my credit card on ticketek and it will go through!

I think there was an email before ballot registration that said you had until Friday 23rd to update credit card details

At this point, I'll be very honest with you guys. If our team loses to WB in the GF, I will not renew my membership with the club. Why? Because a team that finishes first and loses to a 7th placed team doesn't deserve a serious following.

It's not like there was a massive difference between 1st and 7th though, the top 8 was the closest it has been in years! Nearly any of the teams from 1-7 could have made the top 4 in years gone past
