    Gill McLachlan Brownlow compare

I've gotta say that idiot Gill is one of most annoying vote readers ever. Andy D might not have been able to pronounce half the names correctly, but for 80% of the reading Gill-the-dill read them so fast you couldn't understand him anyway. The dramatic pauses were so predictable & lengthy that after round 3 it became monotonous. Much as I dislike Fitzpatrick, I think he would orate far more effectively. If Bruce WankerVaney didn't gush & fawn over so many of his favourites, he'd be ok too reading votes. I think Gerard Healy or Tim Watson would have been much better. They speak clearly & seem to have good tempo.
Who else would be better than Gill-the-dill?

The coverage is way too long. We watched on it Fox Footy, but it was basically Channel 7 with a million ads for all their
other corny, lame shows. Who watches this @@@@? It's OK, I already know. They are my fellow Australians.
McLachlan is very average. He likes the sound of his voice enough to have decided it's a "tradition" to have the CEO
read out the votes. Danger winning it is predictable enough. That is fine, he is amongst the best players in the game.
Poor old Majak Daw, they gave him a whole seven seconds onstage before moving onto the next important ad. Rory Lobb's
mark should have won though IMO. It was a pretty decent attempt to re enact the greatest mark ever taken (Nick
Reiwoldt's at the SCG in 2004). And I'd have given goal of the year to Buddy. Eddie Betts goal was pretty good, but there are
two or three great round-the-corner-from-the-boundary goals every game. How many guys can kick a goal from pretty
much the centre bounce circle? One.

      OMG.
The fact that Bruce called it early and interviewed Dangerfield before the last round had been read out, just spoiled it for me.

The only reason that Parrrrrkeeeeerrrrrrr (*swoosh your head lovingly) didn't win it by the most massive margin ever, was because his team mates kept taking his votes!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

The downside of having a gun midfield.

Is this from that ad with the fans recounting plays from their respective games? With the girl sitting at her desk sighing 'Paaaarker' to her eye-rolling hawks fan co-worker?

                Yes.
We do it every time he gets the ball.
Sometimes you feel a bit woozy at the end of the game.

I thought the call was OK. Fairly articulate and fast enough.
I mean the guy is an ass, but his Brownlow call wasn't that bad.
