Few questions.
Anyone know the extent of Buddy's injury which was in first contest of the game and I believe to his kicking leg? Obviously they filled him full of pain killers but it sure wrecked his mobility and our attacking strategy of him up the ground directing traffic was nullified. Watching the openings of our finals wins everything came from him. It was the turning point of the game
Tippett: Pretty sure he shouldn't have played as I don't believe his jaw was right. He would have been a bit ginger in any contest.
Mills probably should not have played. Allir was a massive out.
I am not sure of this but I saw Beveridge devised a strategy to nullify Kennedy after half time. I have a memory of him taking a very heavy head shot and then that late shot which gave him a 50. Anyone else recall that?
I know we have been over umpiring but geez I count for goals from bad decisions and the non policing of the Bulldogs throws meant tackling was never rewarded. It was bandwagon umpiring and the result the AFL wanted. No frees for two quarters says it all and the Kieran Jack free plus 50 encapsulates the whole umpiring crap. We still being punished for having Buddy.
I think we did great to still be in it with five minutes to go.
I'm bitter about umpies but not the team, I think they played their hearts out.Comment

Go back 5 years. Anyone thing Grundy would be 3rd in a year we made the grand final?
Also, Lloyd seems to be rated much more highly than by most here. The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.Comment

He's had a really solid year.
And Most of his disposals have been effective.
Is it a coincidence that his form improvement, started around the same time as Teddies fall?
Ted must've been holding him back.Comment

Though I suspect that Henry Playfair, as our defensive coach, deserves a big wrap this year. It was an area that probably most fans were worried about coming into the year, but for points against we were best in the league and our rebounding was often very sharp.Comment

I got the ticket back in June... I think it was $280.

Jake is a silent achiever.
This year, he's been calm under pressure and has managed to be in the right spot at the right time on numerous occasions.
I'm happy that our defence polled so highly. They are bigger guns than the midfield.

He said in his speech that he realised that he needed to lift his game to cover Ted. He did so, admirably.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
