Worn SS Jersey to Sell, Need Some Help

Hi guys, I've just got back to Oz, actually at my aunts and uncles in Queensland at the moment. I'm heading back to Sydney in the next few weeks to catch-up with friends, see the rest of my family and hopefully get to see the Swans in action for the first time in about 4 years. I've been travelling around Asia for most of that time so there's only really been flyby visits to Oz. I'm actually intending to continue my travels after an extended stay at home in Sydney so will be back off, most probably back to Asia or South American, in the next few months. One of the other reasons I'm back is to sell some of my stuff that I've had hauled up at the folks house. I've been intending on sorting through it all for years but haven't really had chance until now. One of the things that I'm going to sell, which might fetch a little bit of cash, is a worn Jersey of Rhyce Shaw's from 2009 or 2010, I'd have to check. Its not going to fetch too much but should help build up the fund a little. I was wondering if anybody might have an estimate on how much I would fetch for it or maybe they could point me to a site or shop where I can get advice or take it in for a collector? Any ideas appreciated thanks.

Is there certification with it? Signed player issued jumpers (probably not match worn certified by the club, are listing on eBay for $100 (& not selling) although some of of better named players have sold at that price.
Non-certified training worn jumpers (including a Rhyce Shaw) are currently being bid on at $60. Postage is extra in both cases

Hmmm not sure what to do then. I will have to look through my folders to find out any certificates i have a safe place that i keep all of my personal important paper work. I'm not going to lie i was expecting a little more than that but i suppose it is what it is. I will get back to you when/if i find the certificate.

      Thanks for the reply

Your rite, i have sat doing loads of research and the Jersey isn't really worth so much. I might keep it and see what its worth in the future, you never know i suppose

Are they bidding on it at $447.95? Who signed it? Shaw?
            Could you post a link?

Reality is often people list an item at a price they think it's worth and often then market doesn't agree with them.

But occasionally these things are listed ... and re-listed ... and the right buyer notices it and it sells.

Often items that list high don't attract bids. Low listing items get bids and sometimes in the auction frenzy the price soars last minute. Or the buyer gets it cheap and you lose your jumper for a pittance.

A certificate/letter of authenticity would add value (although that many people just print those things up that they're often not worth the paper they're written on.

If you're going to compare other signed items you see for sale you have to compare like-for-like (a signed Lockett or Skiltob jumper will go for more than a Shaw).

As for that site, there are an aweful lot of 0 bids on those items (it's mostly eBay links too). The ones that are attracting bids are the multi signed items.
