    Past players still involved

Just watched the 2005 Prelim Final against the Saints and was surprised at how many of those players are still involved in the game in one way or another.
    Still actively involved
    -Jarrod Crouch (Swans Academy coach)
    - Brett Kirk (Swans ass. coach
    - Nick Davis (NEAFL team)
    - Sean Dempster (Still playing for Saints, OMG)
    - Ryan O'Keefe (Adel ass. coach)
    - Amon Buchanan (GWS ass. coach I think)
    - Adam Schneider (Saints ass. coach)
-Tadgh (AIS or AFL Academy I think)
    - Jude Bolton (TV)
    - Barry Hall (TV and now part time coach with the Suns)

Not involved (As far as I know)
    - Luke Ablett (I have read some articles by Luke, but don't think they were football related)
    - LRT
    - Jason Ball (he was a board member for us for a while but resigned.
    - Micky O and Goodesy (GO foundation)
    - Darren Jolly
    - C Bolton (although he was for a while but can't remember where
    - Paul Williams
    - Leo Barry (you star)
    - Ben Matthews
    - Nick Fosdike
    - Paul Bevan (anyone know how he went after his injury in the WAFL?

Another thing I enjoyed were the banners in the crowd i.e. We've got the Goodes, Nick Davis come 2 save us, Brett Kirk toughest man alive.

Ryan O'Keefe has recently been appointed coach of Adelaide's SANFL team - while continuing to be a mentor for the Crows' AFL midfield group. This is a great step in ROK's coaching career. It seems his move to Adelaide is working out well for him.

As far as I know, Ben Mathews is still the midfield coach at the Demons.

Isn't Jason Ball now an AFL commissioner?

If you watch the 2005 SF, there are even more players involved who still have involvement in the competition, including some at the Swans. The obvious ones from a Swans perspective are Tom Harley and Henry Playfair. But Brenton Sanderson, and Camerons Ling and Mooney also both played, as did a handful of players who are still playing (or have just retired), such as Ablett, Kelly, Bartel.

Yes, Jason is now an AFL Commissioner (though it took me a fair amount of time on Google, to make sure that it wasn't the other Jason Ball).

Schneider only retired from St Kilda last year.
Fossy kept on playing after he retired in 2008 and was playing coach with Balmain I think 2010 2011
Willo was with the dogs for a while.
Paul Bevan with playing with Perth Demons even now I understand.

Its almost easier to count those who didn't carry on in the footy world!

It's great to see so many ex-players still involved in the game they loved when they were younger, but also sad to see those who have lost their way, ala Ben Cousins.

Not only X. Richards but also Hiscox are off to play NEAFL for Sydney Uni. I'm not sure that this means our NEAFL team really has to quake in its boots.

As Ludwig has noted elsewhere, Abe Davis is off to play for South Adelaide in the SANFL. Galloway has got a gig with Werribee in the VFL.

Meanwhile T.Drex is taking off with Kayex: https://www.facebook.com/kayexlife/. If BJ doesn't beat him to it: Jack of all trades: Young Swan releases a song - AFL.com.au.

I've seen Craig Bolton at a few GWS games, not sure if he is involved with the club or just spectating though

I've seen him show up to various Swans games too. In 2015 I saw him at Drummoyne Oval lounging on the grass with Andrew Ireland for either the intra-club or a pre-season game.

Paul Bevan returned to Sydney and played a season with Wests and in 2016 moved to Queensland and played with Maroochydore

Lloyd Perris is an development/midfield coach at Uni Sydney (I think he's still on their playing list too)

Is Jack Hiscox playing anywhere this season?
