Plugger's Back

I recall Plugger was interviewed after a game once when he delivered one of those pin-point passes that hit a teammate on the chest. The interviewer ask him if he wished his teammates could deliver the ball that well to him. Plugger just smiled.Comment

I look forward to ALL the forwards pulling up their socks, hitching their undies out of their butts and kicking it straight through the big sticks.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

Such great news that Plugger is back. Lets hope that we can improve our goal/point ratio. It's a real weakness of ours.Comment

Can't believe he's back at the club! Never saw that coming.
I was thinking the same at first but had a look at more photos on the website today and you can tell he's not just thin but lots of lean muscle. I don't think his health is an issue. He looks more like a modern AFL forward than he did during his career!Comment

Well Plugger has spoilt my nickname for Sarah Perkins who plays at FF for the Adelaide Crows women's team. Crows' supporters call Sarah 'Tex' but I call her 'Plugger'. She too uses her body size and weight skilfully to out-position her opposing defender.Comment

Plugger just needs a wig and a few botox injections and we'll have him looking like Warwick Capper.

Plugger is simply moving with the modern game with his new build. His new build is ideal for forward pressure, repeat efforts, long leads to half back and sprinting back to goal from halfback. He could probably beat his man for endurance with that build.
His playing day build of 191cm and 108kgs was ideal for football in the late 80s and 90. He was built for one on one contests close to the goal square. His burst of speed and power got him away from his man into space without midfielders and half forwards dropping into holes. His brilliant kicking finished everything off.
I think Plugger is laying of the heavy weights, doing lots of endorance training and on a diet of low carbs and high protein.Comment

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.Comment
