Good to get the win but nothing to suggest to me we'll be anything but bottom 4 this year. Take Buddy out and we still looked lacking in confidence.

Hopefully they can build on this next week against a Norf team that is better than its ladder position suggest.

Good to see Jones play well, Harry showed some good things but I'll reserve judgement on him until he produces against better opposition, Florent played well and Isaac is getting over his illness which is good. And I think that we are a better side with McVeigh's experience out there.

Can't complain about a nine goal win but today leaves me still feeling lukewarm

Ok back to the game, Jones BOG, buddy was superb but we still have major issues.
Perhaps I should have been clearer, did I mention we have a no dickheads policy here at RWO? Goodbye.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Got there late and was wondering why AA was not on the field.

Missing a training session, any session, especially on the eve of a game after being in the twos and with the team 0-6 is just unacceptable.

I suspect there are some major issues there with this kid and I hope we take a hard line with him. Gotta be a huge question make on his future at the club at this point in timee

            Ah, poor Jonesy94.

He should have taken his own advice and left the racism to the Experts!

                Why would you suspect that?

Ridiculous to make such a call on so little evidence of nothing more than turning up late for work one time in 4 years. I wonder how many of us have that good a record.

We don't know it is the first time, perhaps there is more than meets the eye re his earlier non selections in the seniors

For a professional athlete to miss a training session the eve of a match, it's hard to think of a bigger indiscretion. We don't know the full story here of course but on the face of it it is unforgivable and I would imagine viewed as a very serious breach.

Really hope Marsh holds his spot, his intercept marking today was valuable. Also enjoyed Papleys game, dropped off a bit as the game went on but brings noticeable pressure in the forward 50. Cunningham had some good moments too

Yes, I also thought that Papley was really good, especially early on. And it was in the centre for a few bounces.

Is this a Collingwood cheer squad image from the 1960's? They seem th be signalling out of bounds on the full.

We don't know if it was the first time, but why should we insinuate it was? There was good reason based on form why he was dropped from the side earlier. There was never a suggestion in the 4 years that he's been with the club that there was ever a problem with his training standards or professionalism.

I am happy for the club to have strict standards involving training and other professional protocols. Obviously Aliir made of breach of the club's protocols in this area and it was decided that it warranted a one game suspension. Luke Hodge missed a training session and the same thing happened.

There might be more there than meets the eye, or there might not be. If we don't hear anything more than what has already been made public, then why not just accept that he came late to one training session and was punished for his tardiness, and just leave it at that? It's a mistake. Sure. But let's not make more out of it unless more information comes out that there really was more to it than what has become public.

Thought that was Jones' breakout game. So glad they are playing him on the ball more.
His ability to break the lines gives us another dimension. I don't see why Rohan couldn't play a similar if more outside role.

Also think playing Towers through the middle might actually work.

And Heeney is also a significant improvement.

Tippo and possibly KJack due back next week. Rampe must only be 2 weeks away.

As a fan It feels good to have a win. Can't imagine how the players and coaches are feeling.
