Firstly, I'd like to state that I don't believe Jonathon Brown is in the top 5 players at Brisbane let alone top 5 players in the AFL.

Secondly (and lastly), a premiership medallion is not a brownlow or a B&f nor is it all-australian selection, all it means is that the player is in the best 22 of the premiers.

Nope, he is one of the best CHF's going around and for mind its not what he does when he gets the ball, its what he does going for the ball.

Plus he's only young and playing one of the hardest positions. He's only going to get better over coming seasons.

I never said he can't play, just that he doesnt deserve the mantle of being one of the top 5 players in the comp.

In the future I believe he will be in the top 5 but not at the moment.

Brown is a very good player, and has the potential to be a fantastic player, but he is hugely overrated at the moment.

you need to rely on your best players. If he keeps getting rubbed out for foul play, then he could be considered a liability
